Vikram, Anand, Grumps... be kind enough to stick a target on top of a radio controlled car and make it go back and forth at 10 metres. Thank you!

 I meant clays! :P But now that you mention it, the remote controlled car could be an interesting twist... sort of like an IFG running target event... ;)

Cheers!

 Hmmmmm, remote controlled car, speeding towards you from 10m, five shots in ten seconds. Shall we call it the charging Suzuki challenge? or the uncivic Honda contest

You really are a fussy sod, aren't you?

Very well then. Will the Pomgolians kindly stick a clay bird on the RC car..........after he has shot the paper target.

This is my group:

Imported (Non Indian, to be precise, since i can't technically import a british gun in britain?), 0.177 cal, recoiling, scoped air rifle, free hand at 10m

45mm-4.5=40.5 plus 5+5 penalty= 50.5mm :? or have i goofed up?

Well, haven't really been pubbing... Was up early... guess the body clock is still not in sync and one could say that I am getting up at the usual time, IST that is... ;)

BTW - I might have a few fishing tackle related questions for you guys, but that'll be on a different thread..

Cheers!

Hi All,
Here is my score
I used 4.5 mm cal FWB Non-Recoiling, Peep Sight , Imported
My edge to edge sore is 9mm
so the final score should be
9mm - 4.5mm(cal) =
4.5 mm
+5mm (Non recoil)
+5mm (Peep sight)
+5mm (imported)
---------------------------
19.4 mm

I think the calculation is correct.

Thanks
MishraDK

Deepak, Don't you know lad that 9mm is a prohibited bore in India and cannot be used to shoot just one hole and shame us all?  Seriously, that is fantastic shooting.Congratulations.

Best-
Vikram

Deepak,

Those RWS air-pistol pellets aren't too shabby, eh?

Was the group shot without the aid of a shooting jacket, shooting underwear, shooting trouser, shooting glove and shooting boots?

Abhijeet, I hope Deepak's group answers your doubt about the advantage of a diopter sight for this sort of shooting.

Hey Deepak 9mm...hmm that's a neat score atleast for our online competition...

Well, none the less my scores ain't better from last week..

1) with FWB 300s the ctc is 28.6. my final score is 28.6+5+5+5-4.5 =39.1

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182 ... WB300s.jpg

2) with the 97K ctc is 34.5- so final score = 34.5+5(scope)+5(imported) - 4.5 =40
http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182 ... ith97k.jpg

3) with the HW 75 ctc is 65.9 so final score = 65.9+5(non-recoil)+5(imp)-4.5 = 71.4
http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182 ... thHw75.jpg

Cheers
Ranjeet

Excuse my ignorance, but are peep sight and diopter sight one and the same?

Here goes my score.
I used Diana mod-35 5.5mm, open sight, imported

Score is 19mm + 5mm(imported) - 5.5mm = 18.5mm

I hope the calculation is right.
