One pic is ready... courtesy NM... The guy behind me is a Delhi Police shooter...
To my mind this was an uneven competition with guys from the DP, Army competing with us civilians... needless to say, they have tons of ammo with them with the best rifles and equipment...

By the way, the rifle was Anshultz .22 Standard. The bullets were Lapua. We got only 30 bullets to practice, just 2 days before the competition and in all after pooling all our resources, we may have fired only about 50 shots each.... The rifle did not have a hook for the sling to fit in which was a handicap. Thanks to Mack The Knife, atleast we had the jacket and glove !!

Both Dev and I have missed by a whisker (1% point) to qualify for the North India Shooting Championships... but on special consideration by the President, DSRA, we will get another opportunity to qualify....

Dev's pics are still in development...

This wasn't an airgun. It was a .22 cal. firearm...

We used an anschutz standard rifle in .22 caliber. But since the bullets were a problem at times I used my qb 78 air rifle for practice at ten meters as it has a bolt action mechanism. I thought that some practice was better than none. It helped a little I guess.

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes.
Yes we used Mack The Knife's Jacket, glove and sling. Problem was he had duffers for students who took two days to figure out how the sling worked but he really tried :-).

Striker, thats the Anschutz Match Mod 1907 in .22. Sweet to shoot, but a pain to balance/stabilize without the sling(I'm talking about this particular rifle). All the more reason to extend credit to my fellow Dahlings for a job well done. And if morning shows the day :D, we are in for a rocking year.

regards

Well done Dev. Admire your persistence.

Your line of thought " some practice is better than nothing" and practicing with the QB is very positive.
