Re: IFG Online 10m Competition
We don't really have a range, we used to go to Siri Fort and shoot. So just go and shoot some groups. If I recall it was four sets of five pellets. So five shots per card. Write down the make of rifle and pellet used. And score every card, then do the plus minus for foreign rifle, scoped, or metal sights etc. And post it all here. Abhijeet will then tap you in the shoulder and insist that we all address you as Sir XXXXX if you attain a certain score. Then every pub in Delhi will drink a toast to you after you announce your presence as Sir XXXXXX and more women will fall at your feet than the guys using AXE deosprays.
So blast away and get ready for the good times.

Re: IFG Online 10m Competition
Thank you for your reply dev Sir.
But I have never made a shooting short. I Knows nobody in the Siri fort. Can I meet you or Abhijeet Sir overthere because I need guidance of yours. This is the first time I am asking for your help, I have never been to Siri fort and don't know where the shooting range is located and how can I join overthere.
I am very much interested in shooting but never had fired a single shot from a rifle.
Could I please meet you or any other person in Siri fort complex who is aware of all the things.
Looking for your reply.
Thank you very much.

To reach the Siri Fort Shooting Range, just reach Siri Fort Auditorium near Hauz Khas / Gulmohar Park. There is a road which leads straight inside to the DDA Sports Complex. The shooting range is on your left just after the Basket Ball courts.
Just go there on Saturday / Sunday... and you'll find many people there. Go to the manager's window and request for a pistol or rifle, depending on what you want to shoot. They'll charge you about 100 - 150 per hour (not sure on the present rates) and give you a PCP rifle / pistol and about 40 pellets to shoot. They are helpful too....
If you are lucky, you may find some Delhi Darlings there with their own guns...

@Amit,
You can go for the Annual DDA membership that's available (for the Siri Fort sports complex), officials of the administrative section will be able to help you out if you are interested in an annual membership.
But, if you plan to go in for occasional plinking there's a daily fee (20-25 bucks approx) that you can pay at a guards cabin situated in front the coffee house next to the tennis courts. You can then proceed to the shooting range and pay for the Rifle/Pistol (by the hour), the number of Cards/Targets and pellets that you use . If you require guidance, there are folks there to help you out as well.
Have fun and shoot safe.
regards

No sweat, but if you plan to address me as 'Sir' , I would also require of you to always:amit_sharma86 wrote:Thank you overunderpump sir for your reply.
1.Bow down on bended knees in my presence.
2.Use obsequious gestures.
On second thoughts, lets not use 'Sir' at all, we are all equals here. Right ?
