TamilNadu State level Shooting sport competition is going to be held in Chennai and the last date for applying for it is 30th of June.
The event communes on 12th July 2017 at Vappari, Avadi, Chennai, conducted by Chennai Rifle Club.
We have started preparing for the same.
As I have attended the National Level competition held at Pune(Score 525), I have given my name under both IST39 and T39 category. Planning to apply for 50m Free Pistol too if I get the ammunition before 30th.
People who all are participating can post your inputs and practice progress here to motivate others.

Age above 12 can join any shooting club in India. Once they joined they can apply for such competitions through their club.
First when joining the club they can start with open sight rifle which is cheap(13k-15k) and then gradually know their interest themselves through practice and develop to Peepsight Rifle or Pistol.
This is the best way to start with.
