Shutzen - keep in mind the moderators are members first and moderators second. Their participation in any discussion is ALWAYS as members NOT as moderators. "Moderator" type posts are only the disciplinary posts which are quite clear as such and I do not think we need to specify which ones those are.

Throwing a moderators "badge" on their face as a way of implying that they are "pulling rank" during the course of a discussion is rather childish to say the least. I suggest you in stead counter each point with logic and verifiable information...

Also, may I remind you that all of the moderators here are volunteers who freely contribute their time and effort into keeping this site running for the benefit of all enthusiasts WITHOUT any profit to self. While this may/ may not be cause for you to accord the moderator team any special respect, I fail to understand your clearly visible contempt for the moderator team here...

Shutzen,

I only write about what I know and do not try to foist my prejuduces on others.NRAI excluded of course. They are a bunch of jokers and India deserves something better.

Indian shooters have to start with sub standard equipment/ facilities and training and so figure nowhere in the international arena. They do deserve better equipment including guns.Even now ,to make the renowned shot category, people would still have to make do with sub-standard guns and accessories.

Since you have only shot in ISSF matches had you kept your views limited to just that, these would have been readily accepted. If you have some experience based on which you have talked about things beyond that, why not share it with us.

I clearly recall seeing penpusher's post reminding you BOTH to cool it and use "parliamentary language".... You seem to think that being a moderator is some sort of privilege, I assure you it is NOT. It is simply voluntary contribution of one's time towards helping keep the site running smoothly.

As to "practice what you preach" - do pray point me to a single post where I have belittled anyone or indulged in name calling...

An exchange of views/ information is what this site is all about... but that exchange can also be conducted in a civil manner. I fully well realise that it is easy to get carried away when discussing something that one is passionate about - hell, it happens to me in face to face discussions too!

BUT we would like to keep the posts on this site clean, and in the interests of doing so we have put in place a set of rules - which are applicable to ALL members/ moderators, EQUALLY.

Cheers!

Man...this is waaay too immature... we are all adults for heavens sake!

Just agree to disagree and close the damn thing...lick your wounds... several deep breaths...whatever and move to other things man... shoot your high powered rifles in the air if it should help calm you down... but for everyones sanity please take this off the forum if you want to continue.

This thread is beginning to cause my left eye to itch.
