Exporting 1911 parts to Canada

Hello,
As you know, the U.S.A has pretty well stopped exporting gun parts outside it's borders. In Canada, where I live, there are very few resources for gun parts. I'm wondering if it's legal in India to mail gun parts out of the country? I've got a 1911 that I'm in the process of upgrading, but finding it difficult to locate the necessary bits and pieces.
