Indians For Guns

dear friends, pls guide me on following issues pointwise

1. is it legal (under any conditions or circumstances) to possess an enfield .303 rifle by an ARMY OFFICER , which was captured from enemy in 1947 war ?

2. is a legal to gift or present the said weapon to any institution.

3. is it legal to transport it across india from one state to another by train ?

your replies will go a big way in sorting out a serious issue. thanx

As long as he has an All India license for the rifle in question,he can do 1&3.Re gifting it,if it is an army mess,he might be able to after getting it rendered unserviceable.
