haloo all, is silencer prohibited in india? why?

Yes and the reason is that guys will run wild in the street killing each other with their silenced licensed guns and then fill up the jails, thereby creating more headaches for our hon. home minster who is convinced that Indians shouldn't be trusted with guns.
