Indians For Guns

I would like to know how much of trouble can it be if I try to import the following and if any of the following is prohebited

1. Air gun greese and oil
2. Air gun cleaning kit
3. Air gun cleaning pellets
4. PCP manual hand driven pump

Common sense says I should be good... but then law is a different matter.

I suspect your problem is not going to be with customs, but with trying to find suppliers happy to ship to India.

I think there is a thread running on cleaning and lubing airguns. much of that is devoted on local jugaad. Speaking of which, why don't you pm the Delhi members to find out what they use. Try Pm ing Olly or Dev or Mundaire.

Airgun cleaning pellets are basic felt wads. It might get stuck at the customs with some babu reading pellets on the label. Why don't you use normal felt/paper wads in front of a pellet.

I had heard that Siri fort has an airgun range that charges PCPs. Once again, try speaking to the Delhi team about this. A Pump for PCPs is a good option, but very labour intensive (ask me )

Of course, you can look for a single stroke pneumatic match airgun which will dispense with the filling hassle

So here is the deal...
I am all good to buy a single stroke pnuematic rifle.... yeppie
I however want to buy a PCP pistol for that I need a pump.

Please tell me of a store in India where I can buy them.

I was suggested NRAI but there site is not suggesting anything

Similarly have not been able to find anyone selling cleaning kit for air guns.

Will talk to memebers as suggested

you can clean air gun by shooting felt pellets, with some imported PCP like Walther, cleaning kit is included

Importing accessories and parts is no problem at all. - (excluding barrel)
I recently imported almost all spares from www.abairgun.com for an old Crosman I had.
Shipment was via USPS - cheap and fast - No problems whatsoever.

Karizman is the country dealer for the hill pcp pumps
He also supplies silicone grease
for cleaning your air gun barrel use a johnson bud with some silicone oil on it and fore it thru
I particularly do not like putting a rod down any barrel as you can damage the crown and that will affect accuracy
