Indians For Guns

Sir,
I am having a Tamilnadu Licence for Pistol. My Wife is from Kerala and she is having property there. I have to travel frequently to Kerala. So I want to convert my Tamilnadu State Licence in to a All India Licence. What is the Procedure in Tamilnadu?

in this case the same procedure has to be followed as for getting an arms license.you file your application with an appropriate reason with your local DM,from his office the file will go to your local S.P. and SDM,after getting their reports the DM, if satisfied,send the file to state home ministry for their approval so in this case its not the DM but the state home secretary who have the authority to approve or reject.take care.
