Do we need to declare arms while transporting it via railways , as declared via air , The situation being buying new arms from other state covered by all supporting documents . IF yes then ,which department in railways. Cheers James.....

I don't think we are required to declare while carrying own firearms.....
We can always produce the license / permissions if asked by any railway police / railway staff.
