Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well. After lurking here for a few years i have finally decided to apply for a shotgun gun licence. This is my first time, i have gathered all necessary documents except the medical certificate.
I really don't know how to obtain a medical certificate, anyone here with prior experience can help me out regarding this.
Thank you. Hoping to get some insightful advices from experienced people.

Regards,
Ritwik.

You have to take a printout of the medical certificate proforma (Form S-3) (https://licensing.delhipolice.gov.in/an ... exure5.pdf) and get it filled by a government doctor.
I got mine filled by a private doctor and it got rejected, then I had to go to the government hospital of my district and get it filled and signed and stamped by the doctor there.

Edit: I am from Meerut, U.P.

Different rules are followed at different places. You should have mentioned your place/area so that a member from your area could help you.

Here in Punjab its issued by government hospitals.

it entirely depends on the licensing authority.
you need to take a print out of the medical certificate, and get it certified with stamp of a registered physician.govt or pvt.
better to ask the licensing authority.

Can the doctor reject or deny to give me clearance even if i am all good to go?? And incase if that happens what recourse do i have??
