i want to import Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun to Tamilnadu (Thanjavur). I have two options one is my friend is coming from USA coming December and another option is buying through online store and import it here via courier.

As I AM NEW TO THIS . i need clarification in this.

which process will be easier to import via courier or my friend can bring it in his luggage

do i have to get rifle member ship for importing this DAISY RED RYDER BB gun.

do i need to provide any document to customs, if so please refer me the link of documents that i should have .
