Arms licensing case: CBI searches 41 places in J&K, Delhi and M.P

Just thought of sharing this with fellow IFGians, pertaining to Arms Licenses issued in JnK.

The case shows that there is a long pent-up demand for weapons among the public which has found an outlet. It seems rather premature for us to conclude that all the persons holding these licences were "ineligible". It is because eligible persons are denied licences that such cases occur.

Eligible or ineligible: in most of the cases you can get the license only if you pay . Ineligible people know and accept the reality and pay quickly so thus they get or rather say buy the license easily in their experience. On the other hand Eligible person, if not willing to pay , will make rounds door to door . ( exceptions do exist but not in my experience)

Nailed it! These things are a direct fallout of eligible people being denied licenses in most jurisdictions across the country - without any cause.
If anyone is to blame, it is the corrupt bureaucracy, no one else.
