Indians For Guns

So as far as I understand there is a 200 round/year per weapon limit for normal license holders. But what about guns that have interchangeable calibers? There are guns which allow you to easily switch between 22lr & 22 magnum, similarly with 38 special & 357 magnum etc. Are the calibers counted separately or do they both add up towards the 200 total?

The limit is per person. So, it doesn't matter if you have a multi-caliber gun. You can purchase 200 rounds per year for all your weapons combined.

Rule 23 clearly states that the maximum limits for purchase as well as possession of ammunition for breech loading firearms is per firearm.

Irrespective of the number of calibres your weapon can fire, the limits would continue to be the same as for a firearm of a single calibre.
