Legality of semi auto .17 bore rimfire rifles?

So according to arms act .22 bore semi auto rimfire rifles can be owned on a permissible license. But what about .17 bore semi auto rimfire rifles like 17 hmr & 17 wsm?

Totally depends on how the officer incharge sees it and these people are not public friendly.
