Hello everyone,
My father was the holder of two firearms. One. 32 revolver and one DDBL gun. Both weapons were held under two different licenses. He died last year. I am confused on how to apply for licence under family heirloom. I mean should I fill two different forms or only one would be enough to retain both weapons. Also can we spilt them among our family by applying for two licenses under family heirloom. One for revolver by me and one for dbbl by my mother? Really confused.. dont want to get into trouble in last.

1) One form per person applying for license. So if it is only you then you need to fill out only one form for both firearms.
The Delhi Police Licensing unit follows the following process:
(from:
http://delhipolicelicensing.gov.in/Home/arms#section1 )
1. Obtain a fresh Arm License?
Documents required:-
- Application form Click to Download
- Four passport size photographs (self attested on the back side) out of which one should be pasted on application form and one must be pasted on the affidavit at Sl No.3.
- Undertaking. http://delhipolicelicensing.gov.in/annexures/arms/Annexure-4.pdf]Click to Download
- Medical certificate (Issued by a registered MBBS Doctor on prescribed proforma, not required in case of Armed Forces Personnel, police and paramilitary forces). Click to download
- Self attested copy of the Date of birth proof (e.g. Matriculation certificate or School leaving Certificate, Passport etc).
- Proof of residence like photocopy of recent Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Telephone Bill, Driving License, Passport, Tax Return, Property/House Tax, etc. (self attested photocopies). Copy of PAN card would be accepted only with a copy of Tax Return depicting the address.
- Posting-cum-residence certificate / recommendation from the Commanding / supervisory Gazetted Officer is mandatory (In case of Armed Forces Personnel, and paramilitary forces only). Police personnel may also submit this proof.
- Financial status proof like Income Tax Return (ITR)/Salary Slip.
- In case of threat, attach a copy of FIR/Complaints to justify the threat if any.
- In case of death/transfer of weapon on inheritance basis:-
- Arms license of the deceased or the transferor as the case may be.
- In case of transfer of weapon the consent on affidavit of licensee Click to download who intends to transfer his weapon,
- in case of death of licensee, an indemnity bond Click to download from the applicant and NOCs Click to download from all the other legal heirs.
- in case the weapon is Non-Service-Pattern (NSP) weapon the approval from office of DGO’s, DHQ, Delhi must be obtained from allotment of weapon in the name of Applicant.
- Procedure:-
- The application form as above along with the requisite documents can be submitted in the Licensing Unit on any working day from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
- The sample forms can be down loaded from the hyper links provided above or else can be obtained from the licensing Unit.
2) If you wish to distribute them amongst other legal heirs, you'll have to draft some kind of a property settled agreement between all legal heirs, signed by all claimants, wherein the two claimants get one firearm each as per everyones consensus.

Mr.Vikash, first get basic legal docoments like Death, and legal heir certificates ,ask your sibilngs if any one is interested in your dads firearms, if nobody objects, get a "" No objection certificate "' from them and apply for both the weapons in one single application. if any of your siblings is choosy about any of the two, both can apply simultaneously and get the firearm licences and entry your family weapons in them.
