IMPORT OF AMMUNITION

Post by aadhaulya » Sun Apr 26, 2015 11:51 pm

I know that there have been a lot of discussions on this issue. As per the Customs one is allowed to import 50 rounds of ammunition, allowed on the AL.
What is confusing me is that, if one has three weapons on his AL, is he still allowed 50 cartridges or will it be 50 per weapon??
If it is only a total of 50 cartridges then probably it would not be worth the trouble.

The Customs document also says the same thing, so there is no point going through the hassle. Except, maybe 30.06 as they are so expensive here.
