Import of riflescope in baggage

Dear brethren,

Can anyone shed some light on the baggage import rules (customs) for riflescopes into India .

If ther is any notification or ban on importing riflescopes into the country could U please mention it.

You can import rifle scope in personal baggage..in check-in baggage..

It shouldn't be any problem.
