I am very curious to know if a gun bipod is legal in India. If yes then is it allowed to import.

Yes. Authority etc has nothing to do with your bipod.

Then importing would not be a problem?

No. I prefer to get it in person not by post/courier.

I think Bi-Pods can be bought through e-shopping - Some of them are used by Star Gazers & for spotting.
The only hassle perhaps is the cost of shipping will be more than the cost of the bi-pod.
In case you need one - Check with IFGian 'Rijo Joseph' through his PM. You could also check with M/s. Relish Sports.

Has any IFG member have bought a bipod through e-shopping and got it delivered in India through courier?
