Exporting Arms From India

Saw a real nice Army Navy 12 Bore in Pune on my last visit to India. The dealer said he would arrange for an archeological certificate for export. On the US side I have no issues as I am conversant with the documentation / process. Can anyone advise me about the process on the Indian side? Also can anyone recommend a dealer with integrity and knowledge in India with regards to this?
Many thanks!

M/s Hasanand Hemandas, dealers in Mumbai are exporters of guns from India.

Their contact details are available in directory section.

Best wishes

Hi! I think eastern arms, at asaf ali road, delhi gate, delhi would be useful. i remember reading a notice there. worth a phone call, since i've found them trustworthy in my dealings.

best of luck

But isn't 12bore is still in the category of popular bores that you can’t export?

Or I am wrong here…. :? :?

Thanks guys. What about larger bore like 300 H&H, 375 H&H, 450 etc. Single or double rifles. Can these be exported. Based on what I have seen on this site there is a huge premium on common arms in India. Does that apply to these bores too as I believe you cannot own these in India.
