Can I have two pistols & one rifle endorsed on my license?

I have had a brief look in old topics but couldn't fine anything regarding this.

Yes. You can have any combination of three firearms.

Thinking to get a Glock this time with high capacity mag.

I Quite agree with you sir. What I want to share my experience with you. My father also had a 2 guns on his license. I talk about this one of my police office friend at present he is ASP, In his words. Ye Nahi Ho sakta Batana parta hi ke kis use ke leia Chia Dusri gun inquery ho jatti hi bahut kuch haoota hi civilan ke leye weapon are impossible its (2 or 3 weapons) are only for Police offical/Defance preson those who in service a. when I heard his word I thought that ( may be I am wrong)Police offical are think that weapons are only for him civilian have not to carry the weapon( according to his openion). After that I contact with a License branch clerk and talked about this matter. He said me todays addition weapon are very hard to enter. Authorites are refused it. Bro when we face such type of thing by License Clerk/Police offical than what can we do. Is there anay specific Act/Notification/guidilance which help us to face this situation. If yes kindly mentioned /linked here. At present I am not willing to get a another weapon, but is just a query shake with my Police officer friend and a Lisence clerk.

Central Government Act
Section 3 in The Arms Act, 1959
3. Licence for acquisition and possession of fire- arms and ammunition.- 1[ (1) No person shall acquire, have in his possession, or carry any firearm or ammunition unless he holds in this behalf a licence issued in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder: Provided that a person may, without himself holding a licence, carry any firearm or ammunition in the presence, or under the written authority, of the holder of the licence for repair or for renewal of the licence or for use by such holder.
(2) 2[ Notwithstanding anything contained in sub- section (1), no person, other than a person referred to in sub- section (3), shall acquire, have in his possession or carry, at any time, more than three firearms: Provided that a person who has in his possession more firearms than three at the commencement of the Arms (Amendment) Act, 1983 , may retain with him any three of such firearms and shall deposit, within ninety days from such commencement, the remaining firearms with the officer in charge of the nearest police station or, subject to the conditions prescribed for the purposes of sub- section (1) of section 21, with a licensed dealer or, where such person is a member of the armed forces of the Union, in a unit armoury referred to in that sub- section.
(3) Nothing contained in sub- section (2) shall apply to any dealer in firearms or to any member of a rifle club or rifle association licensed or recognised by the Central Government using a point 22 bore rifle or an air rifle for target practice.

sec 3 (2) promise max of 3 fire arms.

Hi avi88 you can have any combination of 3 and glock??? I though you already got a handgun on TR and also can you get high capacity mags in your state...

Dr. JK sir,

I live in Australia, just claimed a TR & brought Browning 1910 with me.

I am eligible to claim another TR in 3 years. So planning ahead.

Why can't have 3 Glocks? Yes I have claimed TR & eligible again in next two years. 2 months already gone by.....

I will get normal mags for time being & get high capacity mags delivered at airport when I am taking firearm to India.

What's the advice on it?
