i have not own house.
And my house is not made propper (Kachha Ghar)
but if i have Bank Locker, please advise can i show in form ''A '' to bank locker as SAFE PLACE TO KEEP ARM ?

The Arms Act or its Rules do not mention anything about a safe place to keep the Arms AFAIK. I expect a safe place to keep the arms would involve a safe/lockable container of some sort at home, which should prevent access of the firearms to others, and to prevent theft. But what is acceptable or not, can only be determined by the L.A. The bank locker will probably be applicable only if you are going to store the arms in it all the time, so may or may not satisfy the requirement.

Ironically, the firearms should be expected to keep us safe.. rather than the other way round!

As Anand mentioned, Arms Act does not specify anything about 'safe place'. If I remember correctly, I simply wrote "Lockable steel almirah' in the form.

In the first line you have said that you do not own a house. In the second line you have said that you own a kachha ghar. You are contradicting your own statement.

Anyways ,if you can afford to get a license and buy a gun then I think you should also be able to afford a steel almirah or something similar to keep it safe.
Just my advice, no offence intended.

Do you have a wood floor in your living area, and do you have a closet? If it is allowable one suggestion is to get a metal "strong box" and using plenty of screws attach it to the floor in the back corner of a closet. Have it all the way in a back corner and it makes it quite difficult to pry out of there even if some thieves were to discover it, just make sure the lid can open easily before you screw it down.

Actually my mother have a farm house in my currant place, i am pesently shifted to this house ,therefore still my mother's house not made properly and it will be made in future, i have been make done my all document like Ration Card,Voting Card,Telephone Connection etc. And my mother will give me this farm house in future
as per your advise i planed to bring a ''Lockabe & strong Steel Case''

As far as my knowledge goes, arms license form does have a question asking whether the applicant has a safe place to keep the licensed weapon, now my question is if this is not mentioned in arms act, are license issuing authority trying to play safe? Just in case the licensed weapon is stolen or misused. It is common sense that all firearms are to be kept in a safe place under lock & key.IT IS RIGHTLY SAID COMMON SENSE IS NOT SO COMMON! !!
