Process for Adding retainer on license

Gentlemen, Ladies,

Recently I am planning to get my wife added as retainer on mynbp Revolver/pistol license which is all UP; please guide me with the process, with respect to UP laws (if any).

Also I want to get added as retainer on my father's shotgun all UP license.

Will it again require a police verification for the prospective retainer or relationship with be just fine.

I have been trying to get this answer in the previous thread, but either I skipped or these points are not addressed.

IIRC,
1. Arms act 1959 and arms rules 1962 are applicable all india
2. The process followed is same as for applying for fresh arms license for retainer.
