TL to Other state, what the Law says? Pls guide..

TL to Other state, what the Law says? Pls guide..

I have a 'NP Bore Revolver / Pistol' Licence valid all over U.P. i am going to travel to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan in near future by road & i wish to carry my handgun in the trip. The route in going to Jaisalmer & return back to my home town are different. I applied for TL for complete Rajasthan for 14 days but the Aslaha Babu says that the TL of whole Rajasthan cannot be issued.. however of any district can be given. I am not comfortable with this concept. I asked that if i am questioned in any other district say Jaipur, what will i answer to authorities for which the babu answered you can explain them that its issued for Jaisalmer dist & wahaan ud (fly) ke to ja nahi sakte so i am on the way to Jaisalmer or back from Jaisalmer as my route says...

Some how i am not comfortable with this TL 'dist' concept... Kindly let me know what the law says? What should i do? Please guide me...

The law says you need to have TL and if Aslaha babu says he cannot issue the TL for whole Rajasthan than try to meet SDM or DC and explain the situation to them. If they are not satisfied then you really cannot do anything. You need to go with the flow of these offices. I would recomend if they dont issue the TL to you then dont carry your gun.
