Legalities aside, I would think it is almost impossible.
Have you measured the bore sizes? There will be almost nothing left on the barrel when bored to 9mm. Any idea how much the projectile is going to weigh and what it's going to take to launch it?
I am not an engineer nor do I have any experience with machining.
Remember, in India, any air rifle that fails the deal wood test requires license.
Best-
Vikram

Why?
What will you achieve by doing this?

Any rifle which can shoot a 9mm slug at velocities greater than those of a catapult would fail the deal wood test and hence be classified as a firearm and besides requiring an arms license to own - would require a license to manufacture! Hence, even if it were possible (not at all likely if you are using an IHP springer as a base) - if you were to go ahead and build one you would be looking at 7 years or so as a "state guest"...
Why don't you just apply for a .22 rifle for target practice as members of shooting clubs/ rifle associations are entitled to (as per the Arms Act)?
Cheers!

Hi Jignesh,
> What in the world are you upto?
> Vikram is right - What will be left of the barrel after reboring to 9mm?
> After having spent 16 years in marketing power tools to every conceivable engineering industry - I can confidently tell you that:
1. The transfer port of the IHP35 cannot deliver enough compressed air to push the 9mm pellet beyond 20ft.
2. You need an OD & ID 3 times the size of the existing IHP receiver - which means you'll be mounting virtually a huge plumbing pipe on to the stock of your IHP - which is near impossible
3. Now the spring size you need will be the same size as the shock absorber spring in 3.5hp motorbike
4. The size of the piston - well I dont want to comment further

Have a nice week-end
