Hi friends,

Just wanted to seek an advice, and am really sorry if it's a stupid question

I have a NPB Rifle licence, issued from Jharkhand & restricted to Jharkhand state only!

I have got a BSA .22lr sportsman 5 rifle at home (Ranchi) on my license and I am currently studying in Lucknow. Can I buy .22lr rifle ammo in Lucknow and carry it back to Ranchi in train??

Thanks for the link ethikalajax..The whole procedure sounds so troblesome that buying .22lr ammo from Ranchi gun stores at a premium price doesnt seems a bad idea after all

The dealers in Lucknow will not sell you ammunition on a licence valid in the State of Jharkhand only.
