If a gun license issued to a foreigner who is gonna be visiting India, is valid all over India or not?
And if you have the information, kindly advise me on how to obtain a gun license for the foreigners. I am currently US Citizen (OCI) will be visiting India in July of 2012 for six months period.

Apply to the place where you intend to visit and ask for All India traveller's licence.
The authority is either Collctor of a District or Commissioner of Police.
You can also write to Home Secretary, Home Department, Central Seceretariat, New Delhi.
If you need appliaction form you can obain a copy of Arms Act and get more details.
