Need court judgements for arms license
Fellow Friends,
I am in the process to file a WP in the Mumbai high court against rejection of my arms license.
I request any legal help i.e. any court judgements, any documents which will help support my case in the court.
Also if someone can help me on Article 19 and 226 of the constitution as need this as my main point before the court.
All help will be appriciated.

Your query related to this matter was also answered here http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 16#p147220I am in the process to file a WP in the Mumbai high court against rejection of my arms license.
Please refer the following judgments:I request any legal help i.e. any court judgements, any documents which will help support my case in the court.
a) http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 64#p147708 In this judgment the High Court says that keeping a fire arm for the purpose of personal safety and security is a mode and manner of protection of oneself and enjoyment of fundamental right of life and liberty under Article 21 of the Constitution. Also said that it is not a kind of privilege being granted by Government(in other words it means that it is something that is guaranteed by the Constitution).

c) http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14497
d) http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 15#p103621
e) http://www.indiankanoon.org/doc/1434833/ Someone may say that this judgment was overruled by a bigger bench. I find the judgment that overruled this judgment as erroneous as it did not take into account all the relevant facts or do a complete discussion on the concerned statutory provisions, the related articles of the Constitution from where the statutary provisions flow. There can be no precedent to the facts.
For the purpose of knowing about Article 19 and 21 from the perspective of RKBA you may read the detailed explanation at http://www.lawyersclubindia.com/forum/R ... -36011.aspAlso if someone can help me on Article 19 and 226 of the constitution as need this as my main point before the court.
Please search "Article 226" without inverted commas in google, you will find plenty of results. BTW every Advocate who practices in High Court knows sufficiently about Article 226 of the Constitution, therefore nothing much to be worried about Article 226.

Is Safarigent already part of this fraternity. If yes then we should highlight his fight here on the forum.goodboy_mentor wrote:You may send him a PM and get further details.
