help needed with heirloom firearms

hi,
as of now iam a retainer to my dads m1 and colt 45. i would like to know the procedures involved in heirloom firearm transfers also are there any notification/ documentation supporting transfer of firearms (PB) under the heirloom category.

Please refer point iii) "Grant of Licences under family heirloom" in the following document at MHA website {http://mha.nic.in/pdfs/ArmsPoss(E)130510.pdf} Just copy the entire link within curly brackets and paste it in the address bar of your browser and hit enter. You will get the document. Though this document has many illegal and unconstitutional things written in it, but it will serve your purpose as the point iii) in it should serve your purpose.

by a book on arms act and rules.
do not be intimidated by the officials,go by the law as goodboy said.
and don't give up.update your moves,maybe ifg can guide youstep by step.

thanks a lot, i had read the section III of the link you provided. but for transfer under heirloom category, does it include the pb bores that i having to deal with.

find out if there is someone,who has done it.i have a feeling i heard of someone from this forum inherit pb guns.not very sure though.
