as of now iam a retainer to my dads m1 and colt 45. i would like to know the procedures involved in heirloom firearm transfers also are there any notification/ documentation supporting transfer of firearms (PB) under the heirloom category.

You will get the document. Though this document has many illegal and unconstitutional things written in it, but it will serve your purpose as the point iii) in it should serve your purpose.

do not be intimidated by the officials,go by the law as goodboy said.

find out if there is someone,who has done it.i have a feeling i heard of someone from this forum inherit pb guns.not very sure though.
