Procedure for getting a license

Hello everyone.I'm Arka.I want to have a gun.Can anybody tell me the procedure to get a license and whether I'm eligible to get it.
Fill the arms license application form and submit it to your Licensing Authority along with identity and residence proof. Get an acknowledgment reciept for the same.
You are eligible to get an arms license if you are not disqualified as per Section 14 of Arms Act 1959. Basically if you are of 21 years or above, not of unsound mind and not involved in heinious crimes you can get a license. Moreover courts have held that getting an arms license is a citizen's right.
