it would appear that in some city/states the dealers do not sell ammo to licence holder from some states. ie:
let say licence holders from N/E have problem buying ammo in say Delhi, as the dealers regard the licence to by false ones with out confirmation.
is this lawful?
any other places where the dealers causes problems to legal arms licence holder.
tell your story here.

Guys,
A few years ago, Mumbai police compounded quite a few counterfeit handgun licenses of individuals who were issued licenses from N.E. States, especially Nagaland. It seems some clerks and petty officers of this state came together in the licensing dept.,forged the stamps etc after stealing the official license books and issued 100s of arm licenses ...even those of Prohibited bores. I personally knew a few rich lads who had the licenses delivered at their door steps in exchange of a fat fees. The Mumbai dealers too made a fortune selling handguns till one fine day when the whole scam got exposed. Actually this is what made the prices of side arms sky rocket, at least in Mumbai. The guys involved eventually got caught. Many handguns were confiscated, quite a few heads rolled which included gun dealers as well. The news spread all over India like a forest fire causing panic to every one involved in gun trade which I guess still lingers. Most Mumbai dealers have since been pretty allergic to N.E. issued licenses and refuse any transaction with such license owners.
The question being "who is to blame???

there is some truth in the fact that some petty criminals in the DCs office issued false licence from Nagaland. however most have been cancelled or recalled. In past 3 years all license were called for verification. from last 3 years all licence are approved at State home dept, without the letter from the state home dept. DC can not issue any licence. so in a nut shell, any licence issued in last 3 years are pukka. Also in the licence it would say issued vid state govt order number etc.
so why do the dealers still say no to licence holders from NE?

nagarifle,
Once bitten twice shy I guess. Besides gun dealers are not the favorites of Arms Dept. in Mumbai anymore. Some rotten apples (read from this generation)have ruined the reputation of certain gun dealers who have been in business since 1920s. Certain gun dealer refuses to deal with anyone whom he does not know personally. There was a Glock .32 acp for sale couple of years ago in Mumbai market that the rumour was came from Ujjain MP.
Waddya say to that. I am happy that the Mumbai police is getting in the know of modern weaponry eventually. The present C.P. himself knows a lot about fire arms and has succeeded to a great extent in curbing corruption in Arms dept. Alas...My sympathies with some who could have benefited from it.

Glock doesn't make a handgun in .32 ACP (and never has).
Calibers that Glock handguns are made in are: 9 X 19 mm, .40 S&W, 10 mm Auto, .45 GAP, .45 ACP, .380 ACP and .357 SIG
So if someone claimed that this was a factory model, that would be untrue.
