current arms act air guns

our current arms act does not say anything about airguns with calibers above .22.though it is taken for granted that bigger calibers are prohibited.does it need correction? comments

There is no calibre restriction, so long as the airgun/air-rifle/ air-pistol in question passes the deal wood test.

i doubt our law makers know that there excists larger caliber's in airgun .now ,as such, it means any airgun even with larger caliber if it passes wood test will be legal.happy shooting whatever!

why cant the govt permit duty free import of .22 airguns also

but where will they get the pellets to test for larger calliber, if they dont allow pellets to be carried in with gun!! anyways they are not available here ..
may be they shoot the next available caliber on the deal wood!!!

25 caliber in airguns has been available in India through some local manufacturers. I cant recall the name but will get the details through the owner and post it. Quite possible it is out of production now.
