Can anyone share experience of licensing in Bangalore

Guys,

First of all, thanks much for everyone who have given good advice on which handgun to buy. As you are aware I am contemplating to move back to India in couple of years. However till a month ago I never thought about difficulties on carrying a fire arm to India. Then a quick search on the web and I see this forum with most comprehensive information related to anything to do with guns in India. Now I do take a liberty to ask one more question on licensing.

While I understand getting any sort of licenses in India can be a different experience for every individual. I'm looking for some specific information on experiences from anyone who has obtained/rejected after applying for a firearm license.
