Arms dealers asking for police report for purchasing rounds

Post by goodboy_mentor » Sat Sep 11, 2010 11:07 pm

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I received a PM from one of our members at IFG who had gone to the arms dealer shop in Punjab for the purchase of .32 bore cartridges and dealer asking to bring a police report for the purchase of the rounds, that where he used rounds of last purchased quota. It is happening because of illegal order by MHA on 31.3.2010. This is beginning of tyranny, please share your experiences and also let NAGRI know of this or any other problem. Never heard anything like this before.
The dealers job is to endorse the number of rounds sold onto the licence. Also to see that he has not sold more than the quota mentioned on the licence.

Its just an tip of iceberg. It seems that colonial days are here again.Law abiding legally armed citizens have become the whipping horse of PC/MHA. We should enroll max. number of members of NAGRI.

Now this is strange. Gents put your thinking caps and imagine tommorow authorities at the time of renewing arm licence might ask for verifiable threat...(as per the new notification) its quite a possibility, since arm licence is for a particular period (expires, though the same procedure while granting licence is not followed) and is to be renewed. Then?

Cheers

Every thing is expected and we should gear up to face all these. In largest democracy we are being deprived off rights. Further when we talk to common license holder, he seems to be indifferent. He has license and three weapons on it. So he is not bothered. Expiry date is far away. He generally says dekha jayega.
Again I say, make NAGRI peaple's movement.
So join Nagri.

Damn.... whats with these babus at MHA? With that kind of shallow and feather-brained thinking, I wonder if their incredibly hefty post-6PC salaries are really worth it.... I mean they are being paid to not-think?

Predictably, IOFB will in time stop manufacture of ammo because they will claim there isn't enough demand to justify the cost (Bloated of course) of production.... The bunch of half wits will probably not be able to figure out why.
He who can not think, is a fool; he who will not, a bigot; he who dare not - a slave!

This is the begining.

But what if we simply say that we have shot it at the range. :D

yesterday i went to purchase the .32 bore catridges from ludhiana shop and he ask me to bring the police report for this that where u used ur last quota, this is a harrasment for the gun owners, and in la ludhiana they r not doing any additions on the licence.

Dear darshp,
What type of written objection they put while refusing additions on the license in Ludhiana?

Dear PSM,
Since you are from Mohali, have you heard of any incident of "issues with additions of weapons" at Mohali?

I am planning to get an addition on my license itself. So I will try and let you know my experience.

Dear Legal Eagles,
Can we go to court against the "illegal order by MHA on 31.3.2010" and take a stay on it for time being.
