Re: can anyone help me in assembling my M92FS GBB pistol

I used the cheaper BBs available on ebay. I think one of it jammed the mechanism and when trying to release the pistol, must have snapped. Not sure.

You should've taken more care in choosing the BBs, even a visual check can help weed them out.

The hammer part is more show than functional, so you can disable it & make it work again as long as the catch is working.

Posting some pics can help understand it more.

Yeah you should have preferred Tokyo Marui BBs.....

But does it really matter? If yes then how?? I mean...After all all bbs are made in 6mm size... though may not be polished and perfect...

TM BBs aren't the best out there. Goldenball make it well, so does G&G. Very low imperfection rate they got, but never 100% perfect.

Eventhough 6mm, many won't be acceptably spherical to pass smoothly through the barrel. I gets stuck along with the action when discharged.

Try load again, one more BB enters the queue & stresses the internals, & can break away if dismantled without top care.

Oh... that's how it becomes a problem... Thanks sandy...

And what I was thinking is like What's more perfect than TM bbs for TM guns... there is nothing to think to buy... and goldenball is comparatively cheap than TM right...so I thought TMs are the best! :)

Well, there are other ways too to jam a gun right from the magazine. Even real pistols are notorious for the same.

TMs aren't bad, but they definitely ain't VFM. That is the only con i guess. All TM items are priced in brand value.

Take care of your gun well, & never force it. There ain't no unbreakable airsoft, not even a TM.

Ofcourse it can break. What they call metal ain't no steel, but different grades of alloy aka potmetal.

Mechanisms jam, & small parts do break. Especially GBBs, which comes under great stresses & got more moving parts. These alloys go brittle too with age.

Google up for infinite airsoft horror tales. Luck plays a dominant role here. Big plus is there are replacements for most parts.

The small square piece of plastic is what has broken. It is marked in the yellow circle

IMG_20140707_194341429.jpg
The place where the plastic should have been standing is marked in yellow.

The problem is, the surface area to stick the plastic is too small, so even if I glue it, it would not stick for long.Is this part significant for the running of the pistol?
I am not able to fire shots.

Looks like the reverse-P shaped piece locks onto the broken part. If so, that area will be under stress everytime the hammer slams.

You can try fastening a screw or similar to the hammer drum, in the same spot where the piece was.

Someone please consider posting full pics, both internal & external, of this gun. I guess we have four units here.

Hi Balaji,

If you can give your pistol, I will try my best to fix it. As Sandy said, hammers are only for show most of the times. So lets make some space to fix it:-)
