2 things to say:
I have been helped often on this forum (sometimes with solutions, sometimes just moral support, and sometimes with references, et al ) and as I see with the patient answers above we continue to live with that spirit.
2. Karmveer- lets say you have a ammo quota of 50/100 for self defense. You buy 50 and do not use any ammo. God's been kind and that situation has not arisen. The following year you still have those 50 cartridges left from the previous year- you cannot buy any ammo since the maximum you can possess at any point in time is 50.
Lets say in the next year still no situation arises for self defense but you use 25 for 'target practice' as ppl above have. You can then buy additional 25.
I cannot imagine any scenario and I cannot further imagine why you would need a reason other than these 2.
If you "HAVE" a rational reason you should use your ammo. You should not "USE" ammo and then "NEED" explanations.
