just a scary thought, if they do not have a 4 airgun policy in place. then why give them the idea?

I spoke to dusyhant at fedex just now -hes also harping on the same point -ie 4 and 10 airrifles for the ordirnary and the elite!but how do these customwallahs decide who has imported 4 and finished his quota-also as per dushyant the documents required for airgun imports remain the same as earlier

HC tells state govt to clarify airgun ban

Mumbai: Under which provision of law do you intend to ban airguns, the Bombay HC asked the state government, when hearing a petition filed by Rafiq Ahmed Yusuf Kalsekar who was detained on July 2, 2010 at Mumbai airport by Customs.

Kalsekar had declared five signal guns and three dominator air guns, claiming he wanted to use them to guard his land in Ratnagiri. His petition stated he had a crop protection licence. Kalsekar's advocate argued that even the Arms and Ammunition Department stated that airguns fall under the Arms Act.

After getting the notice in hand? Even a day delay in the release of air guns, and that would be contempt of court.

Can someone please confirm if customs has started releasing the backlogged air weapons? The notification is as vague as ever! 'Take necessary action' :roll: Could have just said the Delhi High Court order is BS...
