After noting down the details , and also the where about of the Weapon , I was told that I would have to deposit the same 2 months before the games.
When I asked what was the purpose of taking down the details, as they had six pages with them all filled with details, I was told the same has to be sent to the HQ for records & The best part is that the way they were noting down the details,I would be surprised if the same officer would be able to read and copy the details correctly at a later stage.
I offered him to make an excel sheet , so that he could note down the data in a better manner , he very gently declined and said NO , I don’t know why.
Anyways the sad part is that during the games all licensed Weapons would be locked up and all the illegal ones would be out on the streets …
