I need your opinion, I will be flying into Mumbai from Dubai.

Can I bring in 2 Air Rifles with me .177 caliber?

I look forward to hearing from you all.

After going through this topic, i believe you can bring 0.177 bore air pistol/ air rifle with your personnel baggage and would be exempted from paying certain import duties.

But better be prepared and have a copy of the official government notification regarding the exemption of 0.177 bore air guns in hand when you land here.

Just in case... :D  :D

I dont know about the rifle but .177 cal pistol is completely duty free and there is no headache in bringing it to India via personal baggage. Trust me, ive bought it. But im sorta confused , can i bring a .22cal walther talon magnum Rs12000 to India without pain? Do i have to pay and duties or taxes? Will it undergo any deal wood test?. As far as i know that my gamo p800 didnt undergo any deal wood test. and the procedure was just 10-15 minutes. Quite considerate people at igi airport Delhi
