Sign n convey your support..
Dear IFGians,
I request all those people who have sent mails and also the hard copies to the respected Dy. Sec. Please sign specifying what they have done.
This way we know really how many people have done it from this forum.

there is no need for people to declare what they have done or not done. this is no better then what the arms policy said. what you shoot, where you shoot, why you shoot.vkjalan wrote:Dear IFGians,

and it serves no practical purpose. it would also go to show that some one does not trust others to do what is right.

I agree with Naga on that. People who really care about the fraternity are already sending in their replies.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Re: Sign n convey your support..
I do agree with nagarifle and respect his opinion, but since vkjalan has requested this and he is also doing his best like everyone of us here to help, we should also respect his idea, since there is no harm in letting everyone know that we have responded. Hence I would like to mention that I have sent replies by email to Deputy Secretary of MHA with CC to HM, PM, Chairperson National Advisory Council, Leaders of Opposition Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, as well as all emails listed in this thread. Moreover I have sent hard copies by Speedpost to Deputy Secretary of MHA with CC to HM, PM, Chairperson, National Advisory Council, Leaders of Opposition Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Moreover I am sending emails to my acquaintances, friends, relatives and as many emails I can get to further respond.
Since I feel this effects every citizen of the country and also if implemented in its present form, would effects the very basic "Doctrine of our Constitution", it is my endeavor to help this message reach(of responding to the draft posted at MHA website soliciting opinion from general public) to as many people as possible, by ways and means I can think of and humbly request every one reading this to do the same.

If keeping a record of this helps in anyway, I've sent emails to the people mentioned in the draft's feedback, political parties and to the newspapers/channels.
