double brl 12 bore license...

hi i have an all india valid license from J & K to carry and purchase weapon. i own a 12 bore gun with pistol grip, i have recently purchased it and would like to clarify few doubts. firstly if i enter any other state/city for a temporary period do i need to info any one that i am carrying my gun with me, secondly in case i wish to transfer the license to another state what is the procedure for that.
