jaz,

Do you mean that you want to apply for a change of caliber ?

I believe that you at the moment have a permission to buy a 12 bore shotgun. Either you can buy it first , get it entered in your license and then seek permission to buy a NPB rifle. In Ludhiana the permission to buy a NPB firearm is given one by one and not all three together.

If you do not want to buy a 12 bore shotgun , you can apply for change of caliber/type of the firearm , the 12 bore shotgun purchase permission will be canceled and permission to buy a NPB rifle be given.

You can write all applications on a plain paper or use an application form available at the ADC office / firearm dealers. All the applications should be addressed to the "Additional Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana". Remember to apply for a NPB rifle without mentioning 30.06 cal. It will make things easier for you and the "babu s " at the office.

The IOF 30.06 is available in the market and at the moment the going rate is 1.10L , so I hear.

best,

RP.
