Exporting from India?
One of the dealers has a couple of items I'd like here in the US. They're old US made, actually.
I can arrange import through a dealer local to me. Is there anything particular involved with export?

Export is allowed under certain conditions. The dealers in India should have an export license for that particular item. Are you in contact with them? Did you communicate with them?

Please know that prices of firearms are disproportionately high in India due to imports being restricted and limited supply of quality guns. They can get even higher when it involves foreigners. Unfortunate but it is what it is. If you wish, you can share here what is being quoted and perhaps our members could weigh in. Good luck.

No one's firearm laws make any sense.
