Area Validity Extension Query

Greetings !!

I have few queries and am looking forward to help from the experts to get the answers.

Background
I have applied for a NPB license in chandigarh and am awaiting the result of the application (been 2 months already, DC office is still waiting for the police verification report)
The reason provided by me is self protection, and while meeting DC personally for the interview, I have informed him that I need to carry cash as I invest in properties and I travel late most of the times as I am doing a job in Software field.
As my parents and business circle is in ferozepur and I visit them often,most of the times handling cash for my clients.
He said "pehle police verification karwao fer dekhte hain !!"

I am not sure about the results yet

In case license is rejected, I have read various posts and I will appeal against it.

My queries are in case the license gets approved.

Queries

1) I have applied for area validity for chandigarh and punjab.
When license is issued, will it be for chandigarh only or will include punjab also.

2) In case it is for chandigarh only, what is the procedure for adding punjab (neighboring state and incidentally chandigarh although UT is capital of punjab) ?

3) My reasons for area extension remain same, but as you know most of the deals in real estate involve cash , there would be no documentary evidence to prove them.
I live in my own house in chandigarh (where I have applied for license)
I have a plot in mohali (punjab) and my parents are staying in ferozepur in our ancestral house, are these reasons good enough for area extension

My guess: Chandigarh only. I say guess becuase of the unique status of Chandigargh as UT and city and capital of 2 states. In Delhi, you only get it for Delhi.

You will need to give an application to the DM for an area validity extn with reasons and proof- business operations is a valid proof but you will HAVE to provide documentary evidence. Another valid proof is self owned property but that too has to be substantiated by a registery etc.

Here is the guideline that is followed in Delhi. Even though indicative since this is Delhi specific it will give you a fair idea of how it will be done.

My answers are based on my own experience of applying here. These could vary in Ch. You will be best served by clarifying in with the DMs office. But they shouldn't be wildy different from what I have mentioned.
