Need tips HEIRLOOM

hello everyone
i m planing to apply for shotgun license in india, as per Arms act of india under HEIRLOOM,
my father is at age of 73, and his shotgun license is more then 35 year old for the same gun. me and my father both canadian citizen,and we both have OCI.
i m seeking tips and guidlines,
