n.r.a.i new law about shooters

i have heard that n.r.a.i is fighting against the issue of arms licence to shooters from dist magistrate in a short time n.r.a.i will isuue the licence directly to shooters and renowed shooters. this is a great news if true any of the member have any update

I dont see how the NRAI can have the clout to change an act of parliament..

I dont think its posible. In a country like India where a particular group is insisting licences even for air guns.
But NRIA can recommend arms licence for renowed shooters.

It is very much possible, there is no need to amend Arms Act 1959. Government has to only officially designate NRAI/shooting clubs as licensing authorities under Arms Act 1959.
