Thinking conversely, if this info was freely available, the opposite party would think twice before doing anything against the license holders too.

Moreover, there are a lot of people holding licenses and arms whose antecedents are questionable. This would be a lovely tool to weed them out.

If you have a license, that itself is a legal document and a grant, so why shy away from that info ?

So the criminals know what gun I own and where do I live... so they better stay away from my locality.. Because I feel that I am a proud owner of a gun..a license holder, who practices shooting 10 hours every week- and I am the one who definitely knows how to fire a bullet in those criminals' heads before they even point their guns towards me.

According to me, the Government is a fool. Published the data which is very useful to the CRIMINALS. One should talk to the MEDIA and take action on it. The data published is very PRIVACY in nature.

This is told BS i dont mind the government maintaining a data base for official purpose but putting personal information like this to the public is total BS and unacceptable are they out of their mind.
