Adding a New Weapon on the License

Dear Members,
I have a license for Shotgun, i want to add pistol on my license do i have to apply for a new pistol license or i can ask for a addition on my license.

Waiting for your valuable advise.

Ideally you should be able to ask on the same licence itself. The application will be for addition of arm to the receptive authorities.

on other wise you can apply new licence also. Good Luck..

I think only in Delhi you can have 3 weapons on same license for rest of India you need to apply for fresh license.

Many people in Punjab, including myself, have three weapons on one license. Some of my relatives in Haryana also have two or more firearms on single license.

As I said earlier, my knowledge was not accurate, but multiple weapon is allowed only to a limited states in India.

Certainly not UP, as I know.
