I already ordered a LP8 rws air pistol .177 by courier

Dear all ,
Good morning... I was under the impression that .177 air pistol , spring action, break barrel can be imported without a hassel.

My package is there with customs and fexed mailed me a long list of documents required to clear it from customs, including rifle club membership. ( this I do not have), can you suggest what to do now for membership thing. I can I apply now and get it quickly.

I am just puzzled as they they they will not release the shipment and will charge money everyday for retaining it.

From what I've read so far, you will need the rifle club membership to get the gun out of customs. You can try speaking to the customs officers directly, but I doubt if it will help much.

Dear Kandarp,

Thanks for help , I am not in touch with anyone from the rifle clubs. Of course I will talk to the customs officer and explain everything about it. I am also submitting the specifications invoices of this RWS lp 8 air pistol.

Will you be kind enough to tell me how to apply the membership of a rifle club.

I live in Kanpur and I don't think one is here.

Please guide.
